April 6, 2026 at 2:50 pmThe studio is beautiful and very clean, and the instructors are genuinely kind. That’s why this is so frustrating — Every class I’ve taken here has started late and run over the scheduled time. It may not seem like a big deal, but it is when you’re planning your day or evening around it.
Helpful ReviewIf class is listed as ending at 7:15, I don’t want to just be settling into savasana at 7:15. I want to be rolling up my mat and heading out the door. People schedule work calls, childcare, dinners, and commutes around these time slots. When the studio consistently runs over, even by a few minutes, it puts members in a bind and makes it feel like our time isn’t being respected. It’s disappointing, because honoring the schedule would make the overall experience so much better.

April 6, 2026 at 2:50 pmI recently signed up for a Vinyasa I in-studio class at Yoga Journey and absolutely loved it! The moment I walked in, the community felt warm, inviting, and supportive—everything you’d want in a yoga studio.
My instructor, Shona, was such a joy. She taught with happiness, care, and so much positive energy. What stood out most to me was how thoughtful and respectful she was with her students—she mentioned that she’d only offer hands-on corrections with permission, and invited anyone who preferred not to be touched to raise their hand. That level of mindfulness really made the class feel safe and inclusive.
The flow was beautifully led, the atmosphere was uplifting, and I left feeling grounded, energized, and grateful. 🌿 Whether you’re new to yoga, deepening your practice, or just looking for a welcoming space to connect mind and body, I can’t recommend Yoga Journey enough. Definitely take a class with Shona if you can—but even if she’s not available, every teacher here brings that same sense of community and care.

April 6, 2026 at 2:50 pmAfter a long day of lawyering and showing properties to my real estate clients, Yoga Journey is where I decompress and regroup. They have a wide variety of classes. The schedule is great as they offer classes during the day and in the evenings for the busy folk! The cost can’t be beat either! Yogis is all different practice levels attend classes together. As a beginner, I love being inspired by the more seasoned yogis. Owner Leslie Glickman also hosts a free yoga session at Sanborn Square (also in Boca) on Saturday mornings.

April 6, 2026 at 2:50 pmDisappointed is an understatement.
I bought a ticket for what was advertised as a “Supersonic Silent Disco Yoga Experience” in Boca Raton on April 6th—keyword: mind blowing experience. What I got was a mismatched, lukewarm, barely-yoga session that felt more like a forgotten middle school talent show than anything remotely “supersonic.”
The two facilitators strolled in 20 minutes late—in jeans, might I add—while the rest of us were already packed wall-to-wall in a studio where the AC must’ve been on stike, because we were sweating uncomfortably before even starting.
Helpful ReviewClass finally began around 1:20 (this was supposed to be a 1-4pm event). I kept waiting for the “disco” to start—headphones on, heart open, waiting for that promised dance release. Instead, we got a standard one-hour yoga class with headphones that could’ve been replaced by a decent playlist. No dancing. No euphoria. No magic. Unless you count the disappearing act of the remaining two hours of the event.
But wait, it gets better.
After the class abruptly ended, we were told to take off the headphones and were invited into what I assumed would be a Q&A. Instead, it turned into a group therapy circle about mushroom trips and dream symbolism—which, while I’m all for a good introspective convo, wasn’t exactly what I paid $80 for.
And let’s talk consent, or the lack thereof:
Throughout the video recording, no one ever asked if we were okay being filmed. Just because we’re in yoga pants doesn’t mean we signed up to be in your next promo reel.
Look—I’m compassionate. I understand that things happen. But what was promised versus what was delivered were in two different galaxies. This felt unprofessional, unorganized, and way off-brand from what was advertised. If I wanted to sit in a stuffy room listening to strangers talk about their mushroom trips, I could’ve gone to Whole Foods on a Sunday.
You need to do better.

April 6, 2026 at 2:50 pmI highly recommend this yoga studio. The emphasis on mindful movement was exactly what I needed, Lauren and Julia were beyond passionate and helpful, the space itself is airy, clean and serene. Exactly what I was looking for in a yoga studio, and I can’t wait to be back.
