May 9, 2026 at 7:23 pmWorst service ever: My mother spent 5 days in this hospital only to be discharged worse than when she arrived, with higher bilirubin, higher ammonia, and very low platelets. Some medications were given without our consent, and the doctors’ communication was poor.
During my interactions with Dr. Stefanie Marco, instead of answering my questions and clarifying my concerns, she questioned my level of education, which I found unethical and disrespectful.
Additionally, there was a monitoring camera in my mother’s room without any verbal notice or signage, and patients may not even be aware that it exists. I felt invaded and uncomfortable, and I believe all patients and families should be informed.
Families should always be included in all medical decisions, and transparency and respect should be a priority.

May 9, 2026 at 7:23 pmI am so grateful I chose United Regional Health Care System to have my first baby. I was nervous about delivering in a hospital because I really wanted a natural labor and had heard some negative stories about that in a hospital- but that was not my experience at all.
From the moment I checked into L&D through postpartum, every single nurse and staff member treated me with so much respect and kindness. I didn’t even get the chance to go over my birth plan, but they knew I wanted a natural labor and supported me every step of the way. No pressure, just clear explanations and encouragement.
My nurse, Bri, was truly incredible. She stayed with me through most of my labor and delivery and made me feel so cared for during the most vulnerable time of my life. She offered natural labor tools and advice and so much encouragement. The postpartum nurses, lactation consultants, and nutrition team were also amazing with both me and my baby girl.
This was truly the best hospital care I’ve ever received, and I’m so thankful I chose United Regional to bring my daughter into the world. Thank you!!!

May 9, 2026 at 7:23 pmIt’s only a 3 star because it wasn’t the best situation. The only reason I came to leave a review at all is because I want to rave on the nurses. ICU nurses Ashley during the day and Jack at night, were the absolute best. They are very good at their jobs and Ashley is the sweetest and most empathetic woman. I hope they see those reviews or get a bonus because it’s well deserved.

May 9, 2026 at 7:23 pmTook my daughter in for an allergic reaction and sudden eye swelling. The emergency room staff was really great, aside from the doctor who took a look at my daughter. She barely made eye contact with me and didn’t look at the pictures I had from the previous night to the morning. She swabbed her for Covid flu and rsv when that had nothing to do with why we were there. Didn’t tell us what the reaction could be from and just prescribed eye drops. Got the vibe she doesn’t like her job very much… Definitely will not be coming back.
