May 6, 2026 at 11:51 pmI recently relocated from Pembroke Pines, Florida to Midland, Texas, and my move-in experience at The Hudson on 158 Apartments was excellent! The entire process was smooth and convenient — I was able to complete all of my paperwork and sign my lease online before arriving. When I got to the property, my apartment was just as described — clean, beautiful, and ready for me to move in.
The location is great, and the staff, especially Riley in the leasing office, made everything so easy. She was friendly, helpful, and made sure my move-in went perfectly. I’m really happy with my new home and highly recommend The Hudson on 158 Apartments to anyone moving to Midland!

May 6, 2026 at 11:51 pmI’ve lived at this property for several years, and unfortunately it has gone downhill significantly since management changed a few months ago.
When I first moved in, the previous management team was professional, friendly, and responsive. Since the transition to the new management company, the experience has been completely different. The current staff has been rude, dismissive, and unaccommodating toward residents. Communication feels accusatory rather than helpful, and concerns are not handled with respect.
I was even incorrectly accused of not paying a pet fee, despite having submitted valid Emotional Support Animal (ESA) documentation at move-in. Management later admitted the documents were “lost” and apologized, but the situation should never have occurred.
Maintenance issues have also been handled poorly. A bird ran into one of my windows, causing cracking, and the windows facing the courtyard have been allowing cold air to enter my living room throughout the winter. This issue was addressed with management months ago and has still not been repaired or fixed. Paying a substantial amount in rent while living with cracked windows and cold air coming into the unit is unacceptable.
Security has been another long-standing problem. The gated entry has never consistently worked during my time living here, yet residents are still paying for it. Because of this, non-residents freely enter the property at all hours. My boyfriend’s truck was broken into, and a significant amount of money was stolen — an incident that reflects the lack of effective security.
The pool, grills, and courtyard areas are regularly used and trashed by people who do not live here. There are frequent parties, messes left behind, and little to no enforcement. The property no longer feels safe or well-maintained, and it’s not an enjoyable place to live.
It’s extremely disappointing to see how quickly things declined after years of being a loyal resident. I would not recommend living here under the current management.

I haven’t had many issues at all and the ones I have, have been fixed quickly. The amenities are very nice and convenient when you don’t want to drive to a gym or tanning salon. The pool and recreational areas have given my friends and I such memorable experiences. I cannot recommend enough how much I love these apartments.

Janette is an incredible manager who stays on top of everything and treats residents with real professionalism and respect. The maintenance team also deserves praise. Any time a small issue comes up, they handle it quickly and get it done right. It makes a huge difference knowing you can rely on the people runming the place. We’ve enjoyed living here so much that we’re already looking forward to signing a new lease. That’s how fabulous this place is. Definitely a full 5-star experience

The amenities are amazing, the apartments are super clean, and the entire community is extremely well maintained. Anytime we needed something, the staff was quick to help and made us feel truly cared for.
We had nothing but great experiences with our property manager, Whitney, and the entire team. Their dedication and attention to detail really set this place apart. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a place that feels like home.
