April 30, 2026 at 4:17 pmThe food was great. I ordered the perch, fried fish, with greens and mac & cheese. The greens have turkey in them. Everything was fantastic.
Helpful ReviewThe mail also comes with tomatoes, and I crushed those as well . The dessert thing does not have much of a selection. At least I did not have much of a dessert selection when I went there.
Despite how long the line was, the food came out relatively fast. It was hot and tasty. Very good.
I noticed some people ordered online or maybe they called in their orders. They arrived, and picked up the food bypassing the line.
I highly recommend this place

April 30, 2026 at 4:17 pmGreat soul food, satisfying portions. Still need to try the oxtails, salmon croquettes, fish & turkey chops. Loved the sides we chose, and can’t wait to try the rest. My only issue was that the desserts weren’t sweet enough for me, but nonetheless, the overall verdict is I was super satisfied with my meal. The owner’s son recommended that I stop by & give them a try & I’m so glad I did. Good eats foreal

April 30, 2026 at 4:17 pmFood was great. I went Friday night so I picked perch and spaghetti and fries. Fries needed seasoning but everything else was spot on. The lady who ringed me up can be a little more inviting and nicer. It was my first time going so I had a few extra questions that seemed to bother her. But nonetheless I still ordered my food and it was hot and good. I will be back next week
Helpful ReviewTo hopefully try the gumbo
