May 6, 2026 at 11:08 amI made the mistake of booking the wrong year and arrived at 8pm.
We were very thankful that the lovely lady( I didn’t get her name) got us a room and was very welcoming and friendly.
Gave us local advice and tips.
Location was great, only 25 mins from the entrance of Yosemite.
Thank you for your hospitality!

May 6, 2026 at 11:08 amThe room is old.
Helpful ReviewThe toilet flush was broken, so it made noise all night and we couldn’t sleep. Unable to contact the hotel because no one ever answers: I tried to contact them months before for a request, then early afternoon on the day of check in, then in the evening to ask for help with the broken flush: they never answered.
The carpet is dirty.
The purple blanket is dirty.
The pillows were so high they gave me a stiff neck.
The nagno has old, oxidized seals.
I had booked it because our three stars and because it reported 8.7 rating on Booking. It is completely false and inconsistent. Hotel not up to par

May 6, 2026 at 11:08 amThe room is old and poorly maintained.
The toilet flush was broken, making noise all night and preventing us from sleeping. It was impossible to contact the hotel — no one ever answered the phone. I had already tried to reach them months before for a request, again in the early afternoon on the day of check-in, and later in the evening to report the broken flush — they never responded.
The carpet was dirty, as was the purple blanket.
The pillows were so high that I woke up with a stiff neck.
The bathroom had old, oxidized seals.
I had booked this hotel because it was rated three stars and showed an 8.7 rating on Booking. In reality, this is completely misleading and inconsistent. The hotel is not up to standard.

May 6, 2026 at 11:08 amWe had another wonderful stay at this charming, family-owned hotel in Oakhurst! The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the peaceful, romantic setting made it the perfect getaway. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home.
We especially loved the patio above a river flowing just below the property—it added such a relaxing touch. On Saturday night, we got to enjoy live music, which made the evening feel even more special. The Idle Hour Winery & Restaurant on-site was a huge bonus—delicious food paired with their own handcrafted wines, all just steps from our room.
The location is ideal, only about 15 minutes from the entrance to Yosemite National Park. This spot truly feels like a hidden gem, and we can’t wait to come back!

May 6, 2026 at 11:08 amQueen’s Inn by the River was absolutely the cutest place ever. My husband and I stayed there earlier this week (just at the end of April 2025). We arrived around 6pm on a Monday night. The owner was present and directed me to where they keep the keys for guests arriving after office hours. Which I already knew where to go because I had read in a previous review from someone else. Check in was already completed through the third party booking website. So, it was pretty seamless. Our little cabin was set on the hillside above the parking area. The cabin was absolutely adorable. Small and cozy. Very, very clean. No odors. Bedding was perfect. This place has a winery and beer garden that is open Wednesday through Sunday. So, we did not get to experience this, as our stay was Monday and Tuesday. Which was too bad because we would’ve loved Trivia Night. But totally understandable that it’s only on busier nights of the week. There is a deck outside the cabins with a small table and chairs to enjoy your morning coffee. Our cabin included a Keurig, coffee, two wine glasses, some granola bars, and complimentary cookies. There is a large deck on the property with ample lighting and fire pit. The grounds are beautiful and kept very nicely. We walked down to the water which is super peaceful. The property is easy to find, off the main road. And not too far from the south entrance to Yosemite. We even got to meet the kitty that lives at the Inn. We knew it was his home and didn’t want to bother him too much. We will definitely be back. We want to visit when we can enjoy the winery, live music, and trivia night!
