May 7, 2026 at 9:02 amVisited Namaskaram Oota recently and it has quickly become one of my favourite places to have authentic south Indian food in Bhilai. The restaurant is clean, cosy and has a simple, homely vibe. Seating is comfortable and the staff is polite, attentive and quick with service.
I tried their South Indian items and and loved how everything tasted fresh and flavourful. The sambar and chutneys were perfectly balanced, not too spicy, and the portions were quite satisfying for the price. Food came to the table hot and within a reasonable time.
What I really appreciate is the overall value for money – good quantity, neat presentation and a pure veg menu that feels like home food but a little more special. It’s a great option for family dinners as well as casual outings with friends.
Overall, I’d happily recommend Namaskaram Oota to anyone looking for tasty vegetarian food in Bhilai. I’ll definitely be visiting again. 🌟

May 7, 2026 at 9:02 amTo start with, I loved how pleasing the menu was, just the right amount of options, and the pricing too felt about right.
Ordered, the Open Benne Masala Dosa and Iced filter Coffee.
Service was rather quick, but the Dosa felt like a complete mess(refer to the image). There was no Benne or Dosa, it almost felt like an uttapam and, I just couldnt figure out how to start with it. The Sambar and garlic chutney were decent, the coconut chutney was just not it, but thankfully the “salads” on the dosa compensated for it. The heat on the Dosa, garlic and its side just wasnt balanced with what shouldve been a rather cooling coconut chutney. 2/5.
Now, while I was busy getting my hands dirty with the dosa, in came the watered down coffee. It was filter coffee, minus the coffee, plus the ice cube. It couldve been just condensed milk for all I know, and it kept getting worse as the ice melted. A solid 1/5.
Might give it a second chance.
