We wanted to take a moment out and especially recognize Nelson and Charles as they really are the face of The Marquis!!!! They are extremely polite and extremely informative and really the first impression folks see upon entering the building! We looked at many apartments but it really was them that made the difference and made our decision. They are funny, witty, intelligent and very personal! They are an extremely important part of the experience and we sure would like you to take a moment and recognize them to Corporate! 🙂
I did not get a chance to meet one of the maintenance employees by name we encountered in the mail room but he also made eye contact and was very pleasant as well with greetings us all while keeping a watch full eye out etc. 🙂

Pros:
1. Great great location
2. 5 star to the staff and doorman. call out to Philip Rivera & Solomon, they are really helpful and accommodating
3. small communities without worrying of crowded
4. nice view for high rise units.
5. clean and cozy internal finishes
Cons:
Helpful Review1. low ceiling height of less than 8 feet, it took me like few weeks to get used to that
2. old building, so you might get issue like noise coming through the window or the AC noise from unit above
3. very limited amenities, a small gym

She was incredibly helpful, and responsive throughout the entire leasing process. The apartment was spotless when I moved in, and the building itself is very well maintained. The common areas seem to be clean and cared for. I’m very happy to call this place home and highly recommend it to anyone looking.

From the amazing staff, so attentive to your needs and beyond kind, to the building itself being so beautiful and clean is something you don’t find quite that often especially in the city. For me, having 2 dogs, living in a dog-friendly building was extremely important to me and this place goes well above my expectations. They always have to stop and say hi and that means more to me than ever. I literally cannot speak highly enough of all the doorman, superintendent, and porters. Nelson and Eldridge always greet me and my dogs by our names and they keep treats behind the desk to give them after their walks and my babies don’t let me walk past without one! As soon as I have a maintenance request, it doesn’t take long for Phil or Solomon to be at my door. Solomon had my air conditioner fixed and replaced at 9:30 PM and came up to kill an insect for me at midnight. Plus my dog is obsessed with him! This may be a luxury building for the amenities, but to me it is a luxury because of the amazing staff and I love being able to call this place my home because of these people. They are all truly the absolute best 🙂

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the neighbors are all friendly, creating a great sense of community. A big shoutout to the amazing staff and Chris, the super, who’s always on top of things. He’s quick to respond to any issues and goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. We truly appreciate his efforts! Overall, it’s been a wonderful experience, and we’re so happy to call this place home!
