This place was simply great.. stopped in with our pup for some lunch and were very impressed with the atmosphere, food and great service. Our servers were Abbey and Amanda, who did an amazing job.
They have a great selection of bourbon for you sampling pleasure, and the food was delicious.. we had the bourbon burger and the grilled chicken sandwich.. both came with home made kettle chips and were very tasty.
Abbey even brought out a nice piece of bacon and water for Memphis Belle who enjoyed the attention and treats very much.
We had lunch on the front patio, which has ample seating and umbrellas if needed. Parking in the back with ADA accessibility.
The service was excellent and we really enjoyed the staff… do yourself a favor.. and get yourself there for a really great experience.

May 9, 2026 at 10:26 amWait was only about 20 to be seated. We ordered the fresh pork rinds for an appetizer and the were still hot and popping when they brought them out! Delicious! The place is very coolly decorated with a mish mash of rural farm versus modern settings. My wife ordered the Hot brown and thought it to be a might bit salty and I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with homemade potato chips which was really good. They have a county store but we didn’t get a chance to go in before they closed. The only real turn off was the men’s restroom was very small and unpleasant for a bar and restaurant of this size with only 1 stool and 2 urinals (which were both out of order). Waitresses were very attentive and friendly!

May 9, 2026 at 10:26 amMy friends and I came here for lunch after the heaven hill distillery tour. It was a recommendation from an employee there and I must say it was a great one. I ordered the Chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. Each of them were delicious. The chicken was fried and seasoned very well and went extremely well with the conrbread pancake. The mashed potatoes and gravy were real good and the mac and cheese was good. The only thing about the mac and cheese is that the noodles were bland. I really like that the menu was on a newspaper. You dont see that everyday. My friend ordered the bourbon grilled chicken and he seemed to really enjoy it. My other friends got burgers and they enjoyed that as well. A few of the guys got the bourbon bloody mary… sad to say it was not a hit. No one liked it. It was quickly replaced with old fashions and I had the Kentucky bourbon barrel stout. I liked it.
The food here is definitely worth stopping in for. It will definitely hit the southern food spot if you are looking for one. Our hostess was very nice as well.

The restaurant was fully decked out in Christmas décor, including a large display of classic Christmas misfits (including a 10 ft abominable snowman) and it truly felt magical. Even the little shop inside the restaurant was adorable, filled with charming items that were hard to resist.
The staff really set this place apart. Our waitress was exceptionally kind and friendly and made us feel right at home. Little details like the menu being printed on old newspaper added to the restaurant’s unique charm and made the experience feel thoughtful and special.
The food was fantastic from start to finish. We ordered the pork rinds as an appetizer, and they were cooked to absolute perfection…not too crispy, not hard or dry, and not soggy either. The generous basket was far more filling than a typical appetizer. Everything was seasoned and prepared just right with the toppings coming together perfectly.
For our meal, we had a hamburger served on a corn muffin bun with coleslaw, cheese, and other toppings. I was a bit unsure at first how those flavors would pair together, but wow!!! they complemented each other perfectly. Every bite worked, and the balance of flavors was spot-on.
Prices are very fair for the quality, portion sizes, and overall experience. Portions are generous, and nothing felt skimpy or overpriced. The restaurant is completely family-friendly, offering a kids menu with good options, and the décor itself makes it a fun and welcoming place for children.
Mammy’s Kitchen & Bar can get busy, especially during peak seasons, so calling ahead may be a good idea. We had about a 15-minute wait in the off season, but it was absolutely worth it.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with our experience and would recommend this place to anyone, families, couples, or anyone looking for great food in a warm, charming atmosphere.

I had the country breakfast sandwich that was absolutely ruined by that cheap / Kraft type cheese. It’s a shame cuz the bar tender was great and the rest of sandwich was high quality and tasty. Also it was Friday morning and there was still a wait for a table. The lady at the front desk did not let us know that we could sit at the bar we found out ourselves!
If the owner is reading this PLEASE use better cheese!
