May 6, 2026 at 7:50 pmI visited Junction Santa Monica Apartment, and the facilities were truly impressive. Everything felt modern, clean, and high-quality. It’s definitely on the expensive side, but the overall environment made me feel like it’s a place I’d love to live in at least once.
Great amenities and a really well-designed community.

May 6, 2026 at 7:50 pmBe aware, there is a dog shelter very close to the apartment building. Dogs are barking all day and night, and they are barking very loud so you can hear them with the closed windows and even with the earplugs on (see the videos).
Management is understaffed so they don’t respond for calls/emails for days(“we will ca you back later today” — never call back). Even though the managers are good people and genuinely trying to help, but it just fees that they understaffed. If you live in junction, you don’t even have an access to the next building where they have the office, so you need to wait outside and wait if some people open the door so you can go to the office.
The apartment building itself is nice and clean, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

May 6, 2026 at 7:50 pm5/5 Stars – The Catherine is a Westside Gem
Helpful ReviewI’ve lived on the Westside for five years and just moved into The Catherine in Santa Monica two months ago. Hands-down, it’s the best decision I’ve made since arriving in the area.
The property itself is a standout: impeccably maintained grounds, modern finishes, and thoughtful amenities that actually get used (the pool deck and fitness center are highlights). Everything feels fresh and well-cared-for, which isn’t always the case in coastal rentals.
What truly sets The Catherine apart, though, is the staff. Jasmine in the leasing office was an absolute lifeline throughout the application and move-in process—responsive, patient, and genuinely invested in making the transition smooth. Kevin has also gone above and beyond with post-move-in support, addressing every request quickly and with a smile.
If you’re looking for a hassle-free, high-quality living experience in Santa Monica, The Catherine delivers. Couldn’t be happier with my new home.

May 6, 2026 at 7:50 pmI would like to give a shout out to Kevin from the leasing office at Junction! From the beginning, Kevin has answered my calls and called me back. He has taken the time to answer all my questions and concerns whenever they arise. He is so patient and kind, always greets me with a smile when I see him. When you choose to live somewhere, issues will come up, especially in city life. Kevin was a huge reason I chose to live in this specific building. If you ever have the chance to meet him, he is truly professional and hard working to ensure you are happy, no matter how long it takes. Thanks Kevin for making my experience at this specific Bozzuto property a positive one!

May 6, 2026 at 7:50 pmDo NOT live here. The management staff is incredibly uncommunicative and unhelpful. I would leave 0 stars if I could.
The building is connected to Catherine Santa Monica, which is where the leasing office is. However, whenever you have an issue (which will be often), you just have to wait outside on Lincoln Blvd trying to dodge homeless people & looking like an idiot because no one from the leasing office will answer the door or answer the phone.
The parking garage was also wide open for most of 2025 with no communication on when it would be fixed, but we were still charged a $160/person monthly fee on top of rent and utilities.
These are just a couple of the copious issues I had in the building with the management staff. The building is also next to a dog pound and you will hear barking dogs all day and night in your unit. Don’t waste your money.
