May 3, 2026 at 5:07 pmOnly giving this place two stars because of leasing agent Jonathan is blatantly rude. Have had serval issues with our unit, which was supposedly ‘move in ready’ a month before we actually did. Seems no walk through was done prior to us getting the keys. Our biggest eye sores are the cabinets & warped floors, that we have yet to get an exact day on when it will be fixed. God bless Desmond for his assistance and his initiative to get things done, all the while maintaining a healthy attitude. Will only be working with him going forward…
Helpful ReviewEdited: 5 months into our 12 month lease and this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Would give negative stars if I could, giving section 8. Everyone (minus Desmond) are incapable of doing their job to a bare minimum satisfactory level. I mean property manager takes over a month to email back just to say she’ll be out of town. Assistant manager Camila is no better, they wanna do everything but their job of making this place a decent live-able condition. Head maintenance does a half-ass job, if at that. Have to persistent to get them to handle issues. Needless to say I can’t wait to get out of here. Can’t even comprehend how they haven’t gotten in trouble with the better business bureau.

May 3, 2026 at 5:07 pmI have lived at this apartment complex for two and a half years, and this has been the worst housing experience I’ve ever had. Over time, the apartment has fallen apart and management has completely failed to address serious and ongoing issues.
There are cracks all over the walls, and some doors don’t open properly. I had a water leak that took over a month to fix. When maintenance finally addressed some of the cracks, they didn’t even bother painting them, leaving the apartment looking unfinished and neglected for months.
I submitted multiple work orders over a two-month period, and nothing was properly fixed. On top of that, there is mold throughout the bathroom, which is a serious health concern, and I regularly see cockroaches inside the apartment.
There is also a constant water issue—the water gets shut off repeatedly with no permanent solution. This has been an ongoing problem.
My experience with the leasing office manager was extremely disappointing. Despite the apartment being in poor and unsafe condition, I was told I could not be moved to another unit unless I paid $500 and signed a new full-year lease. No tenant should be forced to stay in unhealthy living conditions or pay extra to escape them.
After living here for two and a half years, I can confidently say I do not recommend this complex to anyone.

May 3, 2026 at 5:07 pmI’ve had a really positive experience at Hyde Park Community at Irving. The office staff is incredibly nice, welcoming, and professional. From the first interaction, they were patient, respectful, and always ready to help. They take the time to listen carefully, answer questions clearly, and make sure any concerns are resolved properly. Their friendly attitude makes a big difference and makes residents feel valued.
The neighbors here are also kind and approachable, creating a comfortable and supportive environment. Maintenance requests are handled in a timely manner, and communication from the office is always clear and organized.
Overall, what stands out the most is how caring and helpful the office team is—they truly make living here a pleasant experience.

May 3, 2026 at 5:07 pmI really love living at Hyde Park Valley Ranch community. My experience here has been a very positive one. The times I needed maintenance to come out it has been very prompt. Pests are not a problem in my unit. I pay for pest control included in my rent and they have come out often to fumigate and I believe this keeps unwanted guests away. Awesome job Hyde Park! Of course we do our part in keeping our apartment clean. I love how quiet and peaceful It feels after a long day at work, no loud noises, music or crowds. Just peaceful quietness. I also like the communication from the office the times the water has been turned off, we appreciate the communication. With such big property hiccups are bound to occur and the most important thing to me is communication. Thank you Hyde apart keep up the good work. My husband and I work all day and have not really been affected much with the water situation. The couple of times they had to work on it we got communication and we planned accordingly. For the most part we have been at work the couple of times it has happened and they have told us in advance and we prepared, specially since they have given us a time frame. The office staff is always very professional and they listen.

May 3, 2026 at 5:07 pmJust renewed my lease for one more year at Hyde Park Apartments. I’m in a spacious one bedroom one bath apartment which is plenty of room for my dog and myself. No issues with the leasing office or with maintenance.
Have only had to do a few maintenance requests and they were handled in a timely manner.
