The nurses were great but nutrition is awful. My father arrived with a broken hip. The surgeon and nurses have helped wothvthe hip but he’s consistently had sugars above 200. They have very few options for a diabetic and twice they didnt even pick up his menu forvthe next day. If you or a family member is diabetic then there are certainly better options out there.

Please do not take any family member here for a medical emergency. Three of my family members have been careflighted to Harris, and sadly, all three passed away, including my father.
The neglect I witnessed during my father’s care was heartbreaking. He was a stroke patient, and they gave him medication to lower his blood pressure instead of the clot-busting medication, which caused another stroke. During a scan, no one stayed with him, and he fell trying to get up. I was not even told about it.
He suffered more strokes, and a critical blood test result was ignored for over a week. He developed pneumonia after I repeatedly told staff he was coughing and sick. When they finally ran more tests, his left lung was partially collapsed. It also took 40 hours to replace a feeding tube he had pulled out, and this happened multiple times.
My family’s experience at Harris was devastating. No one should have to go through what we did.

I want to thanks everyone at this hospital for absolutely everything. I went on a tour before having my baby and I felt so calm after Donna had explained everything to us new and second parents about what to expect. When I got there I already knew everything and they took me in quickly with care. Every nurse and doctor were just amazing. But most nurse Ashley who was there at night when I was in recovery. The way they helped me out with everything until today, I am grateful. Thank you Dr.Nnamani because thanks to you Dr.Dosu has been taking care of baby April and he always talks good about you! Thank you everyone! 💕

I was transferred here from another place due level of spine trauma and I was so happy for it. They were incredibly friendly and personal and professional. Each person made sure they went beyond their scope of responsibility when needed. Waiting for things at times took a while but that’s completely understandable with just how busy they were and how much they had on their plate. Thank you to each of those who worked on me case in one way or another
