Always been a favorite, and I think everyone knows it also. Great food and generous portions. Cooks are always friendly and coolest part you can watch them cook your food. Calamari and chicken Ceasar pasta salad is the best. Crab roll sandwich is yummy also!!!

I always try to stop by this place when it’s less crowded, which just so happened to be at 3pm on a Saturday. Oysters were fresh and delicious, just the perfect size. Halibut sandwich is always a classic here, and I got a crab sandwich this time which blew my mind. Love the energy of the chefs in the kitchen, banging music and friendly staff that was attentive without being pushy.

The place was very crowded when we came in and it took us a little while to get service, which is ok I totally understand they were busy and small staff. Seemed like there were only two cooks in the kitchen so our food took a very long time. The salmon spread had some cheese mixed in already and didn’t have much salmon flavor. Just was different than what we expected. The Caesar salad would have probably been a lot better with Caesar dressing but I got it with the red wine vinegarette, and they didn’t put any parm on it? I don’t know if that was because I got it with a different dressing or why. Their dressing options are just Caesar, blue cheese, or the red wine vinaigrette. The halibut sandwich could have used a little bit more salt but the fish was very tender and the fries were good. The French onion soup was a bit salty but good.

The best bar food that I had in a while! The restaurant is always crowded, so you may need to wait and few minutes until a seat is available. Likely it is going to be a seat at one of the bars. Get one where you see chefs cooking, it is a great show to see. My favorite was the King Salmon salad special, the fish was very fresh and tasty. Deep fried halibut is also very good.

So the first time I came to F Street Station, it was when I was on our Summer vacation with my mother & young daughter, so we couldn’t go in due to having a minor (very understandable as it is a “cool local Downtown Bar”)…..So when I returned to Anchorage on my own to work in September (2025 (I work with Instacart lol)), I had to go back, and boy was it worth it!

I ordered the fish (Halibut) & chips, and it was better then most I had in the area, and the portion was amazing, the sauce was amazing, the price was amazing, and even though it seemed busy, the food came quick!

    Thanks FSS!

P.s. don’t touch that cheese lol!
