April 18, 2026 at 9:49 amI have a full-blown obsession with El Molino Central, the fact that it’s Michelin-recognized only validates what I already knew.
Ever since I discovered the Fairmont Spa through ResortPass, this has become my perfect ritual: spa day, then lunch here, then a second stop before heading home to stock up on their ready-made items.
If you book the happy hour pass at the spa, come here for lunch. The homemade chips and guac are non-negotiable. The verde chicken enchiladas are generous enough to feed at least two people.
And the seasonal chile relleno? Will have you thinking you’d never want another chile relleno ever again… that beef-and-pork mix, with the sauce, and fresh pomegranate.
Our obsession has reached the point where my boyfriend literally Zelle’s me in advance to make sure I bring home a full haul from the refrigerated case–tamales, enchiladas, chile relleno, guac, dips, chips, fresh tortillas, beans, desserts… It’s dangerous in the best way.
Pro tip: If there’s something specific you want, pay for it earlier in the day and pick it up later to guarantee it doesn’t sell out.
And if you have room (make some!), don’t skip the soft serve. The portion is huge, easily shareable, and the perfect sweet ending.
NOTE: They pop up at the SF Saturday Ferry Building Farmers Market, look for the LONG LINE.
This is my favorite fast casual, order at the counter, quality ingredients, BEST MEXICAN FOOD EVER!

April 18, 2026 at 9:49 amIm in shock right now at how insanely good this was. It came recommended from a local but it somehow exceeded my already high expectations. Perfectly seasoned not so much as a grain of salt too much or too little. A squeeze of lime too much or too little. Scientific perfection. Best beans i ever had, best tortilla chips i ever had, up there with the best salsas i ever had. Im in shock
Got huevos rancheros (usually my go to for mex breakfast) and red chilaquiles (wish i had more of them😍😍)
Helpful ReviewRed chilaquiles were unreal those chips are so outstanding the crunch the way they absorb sauce the oil level like everything was dumbfounding.
An excellent huevos rancheros. Hidden under that sauce and those perfectly poached eggs are thick blue corn masas. So so good.
And mind you THIS WAS TAKEOUT. I cant imagine eating in person omfggggg im in love.

April 18, 2026 at 9:49 amMy go to for breakfast is Huevos Rancheros and I think these were the best I’ve ever had. Poached, two types of sauce, two homemade blue masa tortilla/sopas, half an avocado and what I’d call a cooked version of pickled peppers and carrots that was phenomenal. My wife had chilaquiles verde and I wish she’d shared a little more. This food was so good! Nice big seating area – picnic tables, not fancy – and quick service.

April 18, 2026 at 9:49 amVery friendly, authentic and fresh Mexican food made with really good ingredients. You can tell by the look and taste that the recipes are special. But honestly we knew by the vibe of the place as soon as we pulled in to order takeout that it was going to be great!

April 18, 2026 at 9:49 amEl Molina Central is a Michelin rated restaurant in Sonoma valley. Very close to the Fairmont inn Mission and Spa. It is a small place with seating in the back.
Helpful ReviewWe tried the Chicken Enchiladas Suizas and the Pork and chicken Tamales. All the dishes tasted very fresh and had used great quality ingredients. Not overly cheesy or greasy. Perfect start to our day. We picked this place because it was in the direction we were going….and I am so glad we did or we would have missed this wonderful gem.
