The service was excellent—the staff was professional and attentive despite the holiday rush. The atmosphere was fantastic and truly set the right mood for the celebration. Food was great and the restaurant has a very relaxing atmosphere. Service was quick even though they had a full house. We had a reservation but still needed to wait a while for our table to be ready, but the hostess kept us updated and offered a seat at the bar until the table was ready. In the end, the manager comped us a dessert for our wait. Our server Cem was excellent. Very attentive and responsive. It was worth the wait and we’ll be going again next time we’re in the city.

Da Andrea Chelsea is undeniably a beautiful spot — the kind of place that immediately feels dreamy and inviting. The service was genuinely good, attentive without being intrusive, and the overall atmosphere set high expectations for the meal.

Unfortunately, the food didn’t rise to the level of the setting. Everything we ordered was just okay, nothing memorable. The biggest disappointment was the lobster Benedict. The texture was off, almost like a dense cake with a sandy feel, dry and lacking any real lobster flavor. It fell well below what you’d expect from a dish like that. The rest of the plates were fine, but simply not remarkable.

In short: stunning place, solid service, but the food needs improvement to match the experience the space promises.
