I’ve been taking yoga classes at AYC for approximately 2 years and can’t say enough good things about the studio and the staff. Everyone is so down to earth, welcoming and committed to making participants feel valued and the classes better and better. The class offerings are very diverse, so students of all stripes, ages, and physical abilities can find worthwhile classes to suit their needs. Quite simply, AYC is the best in Asheville!

I joined the Asheville Yoga Center a few months ago. I’ve attended classes led by a dozen or so instructors. They’ve all been quality instructors, each with a style of their own. Being a bit introverted, I often shy away from yoga classes involving singing or chanting. So far there’s been no hazing when I sit quietly while others enjoy making sound… I look forward to attending all the classes I haven’t made it to so far.

Bhakti yoga with Michael was just what the Dr ordered on so many levels.
Most of there classes are 75 minutes which in my opinion is perfect.
Teachers are next level, but always room for beginners.
Love the location in North Asheville and a few great coffee and juice place nearby.

This studio is magic- from the teachers, classes, staff and all us that attend who become instant friends! Come on by & feel welcome if you’re new or just passing through! It’s my favorite place to return to when I get back from travels. And from someone that does yoga everywhere I travel in the world, I say with experience & confidence these are the best teachers in the world!
