Helpful ReviewOne parking spot per unit but leave it to other tenants to take any available spot. If you call the office, they’ll listen to your complaint and apologize but do nothing about it. They hold “community gatherings” but refuse to address any issues around the complex. The units and laundry room are infested with cockroaches, they replaced only SOME front door handles and only maintain units that need new tenants. If you call for maintenance, they’ll wear their dirty boots if your unit and leave dirt and screws all over the place for you to step on or tell you to replace something yourself OR if you’re not home, they’ll mark something you requested maintenance for as completed that they didn’t even do anything to. Oh, but when it’s time to raise the rent, you can guarantee they will raise it as much as they possibly can.

RUN. Based on my experience, the unit was not move-in ready and had pest, cleanliness, and moisture concerns from day one, with repeated repair requests resulting in temporary fixes rather than permanent solutions. walk the exact unit before signing anything because these apartments are NOT luxury. and don’t let promotional move-in specials bait you into signing.

Helpful ReviewWe’ve lived here for 2 months and have noticed many issues with this property. For minor issues maintenance responds quickly(1-2 days). For urgent or safety issues, the property management does not take it seriously. We’ve had a major leak in our apartment for 3 weeks(reported instantly) and we are told to wait longer. When initially reported, nothing was done, no fans were installed, no inspections were done. Our electrical now doesn’t work which is a safety issue. Additionally the laundry units(you have to pay to use) don’t always work so be ready to get your money taken. Good luck reaching out to the laundry company because they won’t respond. There is also a roach infestation. The leasing office will also tow your vehicle without letting you know. Be ready for some headaches if you signed that lease!!!
***UPDATE***
We told the leasing office 3 weeks ago that there will be mold caused by constant flooding. They told us the rain will stop soon(it was in February) and did nothing. Now we have mild because of their laziness and we are sick.

We live here almost 4 months, moved from LA and believe me I have something to compare. Comparing our previous experience, Clairemont is the best place I have ever lived in. Managers, especially Lauren are so helpful and solve your problems so quickly. We are happy to be a part of this neighbourhood and have such a good management. Good luck and thank you.
