The front desk staff, office staff, and maintenance teams are genuinely outstanding and always go above and beyond. Having lived in five different apartment complexes, I can confidently say AMLI Lofts surpasses them all in every way.
The level of care, professionalism, and attention to detail here has set exceptionally high expectations for our future homes. We were so impressed that we’re choosing another AMLI property when we relocate.
This building is a gem in South Loop, extremely close to Red and Blue lines, and just a short walk to the city center. The apartment gym is well provisioned and clean, the pool is nice, the outdoor space is kept up, and the parking garages are safe and secure. The community is also smoke-free and enforces this stringently.
In addition to the amenities, the other residents are friendly, and it really feels like a community.
If you’re on the fence take a tour! This building rocks.

May 7, 2026 at 9:24 amI have truly enjoyed my stay at the Lofts. The front desk personnel are phenomenal. I have stayed in a few apartment buildings in downtown Chicago and I can say you will not find a crew that will make you feel more like you’re home.
The leasing team and management are also amazing. The can be very accommodating and really do try their best to assist. The maintenance crew is amazing as well and requests are responded to in no time.
I loved my stay and would definitely be my top choice when I move back to the city!

Maintenance team is very efficient and responsive. Best place to rental experience so far. Janiyah at the front desk does an amazing job.
Only flip side was our lease renewal at the end of 2023, that came in at a very high rate. I am so glad we found this apartment.

May 7, 2026 at 9:24 amThis place is awful. You can hear noise from all directions. There’s running water from the unit(s) between me, and I can hear the unit after me talking on the phone clearly while I’m inside my unit. And when it’s windy, Mother Nature adds to the noise. The dog barking, baby crying at all times at night. The elevator being out of service almost everyday. The smell in the elevator.
The leasing department says all these are normal and they can’t do anything about it. It’s unbelievable. If all these are considered normal, then they should have disclosed this information to me before I signed the lease, especially when I told the agent that I’m a light sleeper.
To me, normal noise would be hearing an ambulance, vehicles honking, and trains.
this building lacks built-in soundproofing. I have to wear an earbuds at night, just to be able to sleep.
I can’t wait to get out of this place (waiting for my buy out time ends… and with all the inconvenience I have to endure daily, I have to pay a buy out fee for the amount of 2 months rent !!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!
