They are on time; the quality of the work is good; and the price has always been fair. April 19, 2026 at 10:20 pmMy 99 year old home had virtually no water pressure or hot water due to sediment-filled galvanized pipes and hot water supply lines running in every direction under the house. Trickles of water from the faucets and cold showers were the norm, yet repiping the entire house is a huge project. I compiled an initial contact list of 11 plumbers, all from friends, colleagues and neighbors. All About The Pipes was a neighbor’s referral.
The inspection was very thorough and the quote followed promptly. Pricing was fantastic and more than fair. Communication is person-to-person. All phone calls were answered and all email received. AATP exceeded my expectations in every way!
Honestly, I cannot say enough about this small, local company!
Mary, Alex, Noah and Jason are knowledgeable, process oriented – seeking to find the root of the problem and solve it rather than using workarounds or swapping parts as a shortcut. Additionally, my home has a crawl space that gets very narrow towards the back of the house. They dealt with that inconvenience without complaint. Alex even crawled to the back of the house during the initial inspection. There were no delays or surprises. Fantastic communication from the first call to the final payment. My home was left in good order, I was never inconvenienced in any way during the course of the project. All plumbers were very aware and respectful of my cats – always making sure the doors were closed and latched. Good folks!
The trickles of water and cold showers are in the past. Everything works well – better than ever.
It is crucial we support our small and local companies rather than the giants with hundreds of employees who seem bound more to their metrics and pushing upsells than developing a real loyalty with a customer built on great work and communication.

April 19, 2026 at 10:20 pmWe had a very stressful situation where I exhausted every DIY option I could with no success. I really didn’t want to call a plumber because my last estimate (from one of the big companies in town) was shocking.
But alas we had to do something. All about the pipes came recommended on reddit and I gave them a call.
When Mary answered the phone she didn’t make my stress disappear, BUT she shared the stress with me. She asked very thoughtful questions and made me feel like someone was looking out for our family.
She sent Jason over and he was extremely professional and informative. He did what he could but let us know our 80yr old plumbing infrastructure was on its last leg.
We asked him for an estimate to do a considerable task. And when we received the figures we were pleasantly surprised how reasonable it was. So much so we added a few other tasks to the service.
On the actual day of the work Jason and Noah arrived and worked as a team to not only get the job done, but also in a timely manner and no mess left behind.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND All about the pipes!
Plumbing problems are no fun and we customers can be in a very vulnerable position bc I have no idea why the big boys would be exponentially more expensive than what All about the pipes charged.

April 19, 2026 at 10:20 pmMy husband and I just finished a major renovation and added two full bathrooms. One of the bathrooms consisted of a large custom steam shower. We started planning this project about a year ago. After doing about six months worth of research on plumbers in the Charlotte Metro area we elected to use All About the Pipes. We called the office and spoke with Mary. She was incredibly nice and told us that she would have someone reach out to us soon as possible. Within an hour Chris, the owner of the company, called and we arranged a time for him to come out. I have to say that it’s not every day you have the owner of the company come out to look at a job. Chris was incredibly nice and took the time to look over our plans very closely. He made several suggestions and left us with a few options we never even considered. Within a few days Mary called and told me to check my email and that we should have received the proposal. The proposal was very thorough and very reasonably priced. We gave the thumbs up and they started a few weeks later. In one day his crew had both bathrooms rough plumbed. they are incredibly meticulous in all that they do and left the jobsite spotless. As soon as everything was finished they were here immediately and finished installing all of the fixtures. Chris took the time to walk the job and answered all of our questions. He took the time to make sure everything was perfect before he left. Everything turned out awesome! We are very happy customers and will not hesitate to call Chris and his team in the future.
