March 21, 2026 at 3:20 amSir Ganga Ram Hospital and its branch Ganga Ram City Hospital have extremely high charges that are very difficult for middle-income patients to afford. The doctor consultation fees are far beyond what an average person can comfortably pay.
Helpful ReviewIn addition, the administration department seems to impose excessive charges, especially for parking. The parking fees are unusually high—sometimes even higher than those at a five-star hotel.
Hospitals should focus on patient care and reasonable pricing rather than placing such heavy financial burdens on patients and their families.

March 21, 2026 at 3:20 amWe were visiting Delhi for just a week when my wife fell and injured her right shoulder. We went to Sir Ganga Ram City Hospital on 29th November around 8:30 PM, hoping for genuine medical help. Unfortunately, what we experienced felt nothing like patient care and more like an attempt to push unnecessary procedures from the moment we walked in.
At the casualty ward, we were attended by three staff members in white uniforms whose behaviour genuinely felt uncaring and driven more by procedure and billing than by any real medical assessment. Instead of first checking where exactly the pain was or even understanding the situation, we were immediately told to undergo a series of tests — BP, sugar, X-ray — as if following a fixed script. No initial assessment, no listening, no examination. Before we could even understand what was happening, they had already prepared injections, supposedly painkillers, without any diagnosis. I had to firmly stop them and refuse further treatment.
We agreed to only get the X-ray done for our own peace of mind. As expected, the X-ray showed no fracture, and even the staff casually mentioned it didn’t look like anything serious.
But then came the shocker — we were asked to pay an additional ₹1500 for a doctor’s “consultation” that apparently happened over WhatsApp among themselves.. The orthopaedic doctor (Dr. Ravi Chauhan) neither saw the patient nor spoke to us even once. Yet we were billed for it without explanation.
By the end of this exhausting ordeal, we had paid nearly ₹3000 without receiving any proper diagnosis, communication, or actual medical care. For a family visiting the city and trusting a major hospital name, this experience was extremely upsetting.
Hospitals are supposed to offer dignity, clarity, and care — not leave patients feeling exploited.
Helpful ReviewI strongly advise others to think twice before choosing this facility.
