What really stood out was the maintenance team — they were consistently responsive, professional, and kind. Any issue I ever had was handled quickly and with care. A special shoutout to Jaime, who was absolutely amazing. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and always went above and beyond to make sure everything was fixed properly the first time. It made a huge difference knowing maintenance could be trusted and relied on.
Living here for four years speaks volumes in itself. I truly appreciated the staff and the level of care put into the property. I would absolutely recommend The Villas at West Road to anyone looking for a place where residents are genuinely taken care of.

May 9, 2026 at 6:53 amWe met Tristen Ford on our first visit to the Village of West University. We were moving from Denver and looking for a nice apartment in a good location. Tristen was very professional and answered all our questions and we never felt that he was rushing us in any way.

When we tried to ask to transfer to a lower unit because of pregnancy. Leasing agent gave us false information over the phone about another upper unit (we knew later it was upper) so we visited the office. She was talking to us while fixing her nails and asked us to go check online by ourselves!!! When we respectfully mentioned we needed information about the transfer as we cannot find all information online in addition to the tight time we have at work she replied “go learn how to use the internet “!!! INSANE!!
We have been putting up with so many things in this community, but the utter level of the leasing office’s rudeness & disrespect was the last straw. DENIED services, OVERPRICED rent compared to nearby communities, stolen cars rims, 80% of the time broken community gate, leasing ignoring calls and not willing to help, VERY HIGH ELECTRICITY BILLS for 2 bedrooms ($250 -$350+) – we don’t know what the issues in this place – ( we know a neighbor got a $400 bill) , ….etc and on top of that we have to deal with a very rude disrespectful and unprofessional leasing agent.
This is not an isolated issue. The leasing agent was not providing answers and treating us the same way in previous occasions like when we asked for a carpet cleaning upon renewal ( one of the services that was removed) and when we were double charged trash fees for a few months when she answered “check your leasing contract!!) finding later that fees were falsely charged twice for no reason and never was refunded!
We thought at the beginning that sometimes people have bad days but after this incident and asking a few neighbors we found that this is the way they treat their WELL-EDUCATED residents who pay their checks!!
DON’T MOVE HERE unless you want to deal with all what mentioned above!! losing your valuable time dealing with the leasing office disrespect instead of focusing on your work. This is FAIR WARNING based on FACTS not feelings!
