The location itself is convenient and fairly popular, but unfortunately the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the place leave a lot to be desired. The dining area could definitely be better maintained, especially considering the footfall it attracts.
On the positive side, the pricing is quite reasonable, making it a budget-friendly option if you’re craving North Indian or tandoori-style food. However, the service is noticeably slow. The staff, while not rude, seemed stretched and unhurried, which impacted the overall dining experience.
Coming to the food, the taste is largely average. We ordered mutton biryani, Kashmiri chicken, and kadhi. The biryani was the most disappointing dish of the lot—bland, lacking depth of flavour, and nowhere close to what one expects from a good mutton biryani. The Kashmiri chicken and kadhi were just about okay—edible but forgettable, with nothing that really stood out or made a lasting impression.
The only saving grace here is their tandoori items, which are relatively better compared to the rest of the menu. If you’re visiting, it might make sense to stick to those.
Overall, Madrasi Grill is an average experience at best. While the prices are reasonable, the average taste, slow service, and subpar hygiene make it hard to recommend strongly. Raipur has several better dining options that offer superior food quality and a more pleasant ambience, and those would be a better choice unless you’re specifically in the area and looking for a quick, no-frills meal.

Sometimes there is a slight delay in order preparation, especially during busy hours, but the staff is cooperative and usually informs about the waiting time in advance.
The place is clean and the pickup process is generally smooth. With better time management during peak hours, the experience could be even better.
