Amazing place to live! The location is unbeatable—within walking distance to the beach and close to LAX, Venice, and Santa Monica. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, maintenance is responsive, and the courtesy patrol adds peace of mind. The amenities are beautiful and well maintained, and it’s truly a great value for the Westside LA area. On top of that, it’s a great community with a positive atmosphere. Highly recommend!

My experience here is wonderful especially with the help of everyone working here. Diana made my move very easy and she assisted us with everything smoothly. She responded in a timely manner and kept everything very professional. I’m so happy to be a resident of this complex.

When I moved in there was a huge gap under my door, my dog could see everyone walking by and hear everything. It made her very anxious and she pulled up the carpet trying to escape under the large door gap and the carpet was not securely installed under the door frame. I let Dustin know and he said he would fix it himself but that I would have to pay for professional work. He cancelled for me having dogs and was very hard to get a hold of. He added a piece of carpet that did not fit and was not secure and my dog ripped it up again. I put in a new order to have it fixed and he told me I need to pay and was very short and not nice about my circumstance that he did not fix it correctly. I told him I would ask another maintenance guy that has always fixed things for me on the weekend if he could do it for me. Gregorio has been so nice to me and my dogs. He answers my requests in timely manner and brings warm positive energy everywhere he goes. Dustin got upset with me and told me that Gregorio cannot fix it because he doesn’t do carpet and to not ask him. He was very upset with me to even say I would ask someone else who might do the job better. I do not want Dustin answering my maintenance requests anymore.

Mariners Village used to feel like a paradise for us. We lived here for more than eight years, and for most of that time the community was peaceful, well-maintained, and the amenities were genuinely great. We were happy here and never had serious issues.

Unfortunately, everything changed after the renovation work started more than two years ago. Since then, the community has developed a severe rat problem. It feels like the construction disturbed nests and pushed rats into the buildings — and now they are literally everywhere.

In our case, rats began entering our apartment. We no longer feel safe sleeping, especially at night. We cannot comfortably leave doors open for ventilation because we are afraid rats will come in and crawl onto our bed. We don’t use our balcony anymore because there are traps set up and rats are caught there often. What used to be our peaceful home has become stressful and exhausting.

It is heartbreaking to watch a place that was once so beautiful become a nightmare to live in. At this point, we will be moving out, because it has become impossible to live here anymore.

I love Mariner’s village. I’ve lived here for more than 5 years and I call this place home. Recently, we’ve got an upgrade and moved to the newly renovated apartment! Diana was helping us to transition and she is a superstar!!!!
