April 21, 2026 at 6:10 amI really enjoyed my class with Lucas and found it grounding, well taught and super relaxing. I wanted to share one small reflection from my perspective as a Hindu American.
Ending the class with singing Om Shanti Om, with a ukulele especially in a room where I was the only (brown person) and everyone else was white including the teacher, felt a bit uncomfortable. I am sure Lucas knows that it is a sacred mantra/sound in Hinduism, and while I do believe it can have calming benefits for everyone, regardless of religion, in this context it felt somewhat disconnected from its cultural and spiritual roots.
I am sharing this gently and with deep respect truly.

April 21, 2026 at 6:10 amTook a yoga class this morning with Lital and it was exactly what I needed as someone that is starting her fitness journey again for the 5th time this year. She is very patient and engaging. It truly felt like a safe space to show up for myself and be myself. The space and energy is clean. Definitely will be back!

April 21, 2026 at 6:10 amI have been going to NY Loves Yoga for years and this is the best Yoga studio around. They have built a beautiful neighborhood community. The teachers are incredible and there is a class for every level of practice. The once a month Yoga Nidra and sound bowls is truly something special.
