We completed a two-week beginner yoga training, and it was truly a wonderful experience.
Aman, Mukul, and Rashmi are excellent and experienced teachers who made the training easy to understand and enjoyable. Swamiji and Murthy are very knowledgeable and shared deep insights throughout the course.
The centre also offers various Ayurvedic treatments provided by experienced doctors, which adds great value to the overall experience.
The location is excellent—peaceful and perfect for learning yoga. The food was amazing, with most of the vegetables being organic and grown on their own farmland. The kitchen staff did a fantastic job.
All the staff were very helpful and friendly, which made our stay even more comfortable.
We would love to come again, hopefully sometime soon.

I came to this centre hoping to do Panchakarma and deep Ayurvedic healing. While there are some genuinely beautiful things here, I want to share an honest perspective so future guests can choose what is right for them.

    First, the positives:
The yoga teachers are excellent, and the space itself is really well set up for yoga, retreats, and learning. The grounds are peaceful, and the courses offered here seem thoughtfully designed. Laura in guest relations is truly wonderful — she is like a fairy godmother, always trying to sprinkle care, kindness, and warmth over every situation, and she made me feel deeply seen and supported. The staff overall are kind and genuinely trying their best.

However, this centre is not truly set up for Panchakarma or for people with chronic or complex health conditions. Sadly, the Ayurveda here feels very “watered down” and adapted for Westerners rather than being an authentic, medically supportive Panchakarma environment.

The biggest issue is the food. Despite what was communicated before I arrived, the kitchen is not Ayurvedic in practice. Meals are heavy, oily, spicy, salty, and repetitive, with things like red chilies, late heavy dinners, and food combinations that go against basic Ayurvedic principles — especially for detox or for people with sensitive digestion and chronic illness. This made me feel weaker, more inflamed, and more unwell rather than supported in healing.

Dr. Smeena genuinely tried to help me, but she does not have real authority over the kitchen, so what she could offer was very limited. This led to a lot of stress and frustration around meals, which is not what someone in a vulnerable healing process needs.

My issue is not with the staff — they are kind, caring, and doing their best. My disappointment is with the owners and management for presenting this as something it is not. I believe people with serious health issues are being taken on when the centre is simply not equipped to care for them safely, and that feels driven more by business than by true caretaking.

If you are coming for yoga, rest, or courses, this place may be lovely. But if you are seeking real Panchakarma or deep Ayurvedic medical support, I would strongly recommend doing more research or going somewhere that is properly set up for that.

I share this with the hope that the centre becomes more transparent and responsible, so guests can make truly informed choices.

Stay — even if, in the first days, you feel like escaping.

Ayuryoga Ashram is a truly special place for self-transformation. I did a 21-day Panchakarma here, and I’m grateful I chose to experience it in this environment.

You’re fully supported by the doctor and the Ayurveda team throughout the process. Panchakarma is a deep detox journey, and it’s normal to feel different emotions from day to day. There were moments when I wanted to run away — and I want to say: stay. That resistance is often part of the process. If you genuinely want to change old patterns, it takes courage and willpower.

The energy of the place shifts as new people arrive, which adds its own dynamics — but for me it was also part of the learning.

You’ll have morning and evening yoga and meditation, and I found the teachers very skilled and precise — exactly what I needed. And yes… nobody promised it would be easy. 🙂

The food is delicious (sometimes a bit too spicy if you can’t handle spice at all), and overall the space invites you to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and remember what really matters — your values, your truth.

No expectations = no suffering. Just sensation.

The last 14 days have been nothing short of transformative 🫶.
Here at Ayuryoga Eco Ashram, far, far away from the noise of the city, I found myself immersed in 18 acres of lush green gardens — surrounded by nature in its purest form, alive with plants, wildlife, and the gift of fresh, clean air.🌿

Each day unfolded with care and intention. The warm and friendly staff offering Ayurvedic treatments 💆‍♂️embraced me with professionalism, kindness, and genuine compassion — always checking in, always making sure I felt held on this journey. Evenings were gently wrapped in the stillness of yoga and meditation 🧘‍♂️,
a sacred space to reflect and let go.
The hospitality team served up delicious vegetarian meals, while the guest services staff radiated warmth and love in every interaction, creating a true sense of home that will not be easily forgotten.

Departing this beautiful retreat, my heart is filled with mixed emotions. I’ve been cradled by the serenity of nature and uplifted by the kindness of incredible souls. The peace of this place, the laughter and smiles, the shared silences, and the gentle rhythm of each day have left a lasting imprint on my heart. 💙

I’ll deeply miss the breathtaking surroundings, the sense of community, and the special energy that made this journey so meaningful. I leave with immense gratitude — for every moment, every connection, and every lesson that unfolded here. Though I’m departing physically, the spirit of this place will remain within me — a quiet guiding light of warmth and clarity, inspiring me to live a more grounded, joyful, and meaningful life.🙏Namaste

The place is magic – the surrounding alone would be enough to cure 🙂. But what is even more important are the people working in the ashram – they are heartful, kind and fully professional at the same time. I participated in Ayurvedic Foundation Course kn the ashram nland loved every single aspect of that – programme, teachers, extra activities, place, accommodation and food.
