Mago Garden is my home away from the bustling city life. I started coming here in 2008. It is peaceful, quiet, offers amazing healthy communal dining, Clean rooms nestled in the red rocks, helpful staff, Tao meditation experienced guides, detox retreats, a healing lake with waterfalls, and a shrine for the Enlightened Guides whom have shared peace and love on Earth! I love it there! I experienced deep healing from trauma and stress!

In February, I experienced Finding True Self at Sedona Mago. The experience was transformative. Aside from the beautiful location and delicious food, the entire area was so grounding. There was no buzz from the external world, electronics, and such, plus the grounds were amazing. All of the exercises, discussions, and learning that took place during FTS were thoughtfully organized to create a meaningful experience for everyone who was there. I’m so grateful I had an amazing group of people there with me. Everyone was open to change and to learning and exploring their inner voice and True Self. I returned from the retreat rejuvenated, excited, and joyful. It’s been almost a month since I left, and those feelings are still there. There are moments where I have to consciously bring them forward, but most of the time they’re stronger than they’ve been in years. I can’t say enough good things or recommend this program enough. If you’re looking to start working on yourself, I highly suggest you start with Finding True Self.

I recently attended the detox program at Mago, and had one of my best experiences ever! I detox my body, and was able to connect with my mind and body through meditation. I learned techniques to deal with daily stress. The staff was very supportive, the Masters hosting the program were amazing, the food was nutritious and delicious, the 200 acres property at Mago is magical. I made some great friends at the program. I’m definitely returning to this majestic place! Thank you!

I just returned from the Finding True Self retreat at Sedona Mago, and it was a powerful experience that feels like it will stay with me for a long time.

The setting itself immediately shifts your mindset. February weather was completely manageable — cool in the mornings and evenings, but very comfortable during the day. You can walk the grounds easily and spend time outdoors without feeling uncomfortable. The landscape adds to the experience, for sure.

The program schedule is full. You are moving, breathing, reflecting, participating. There isn’t much idle time, and that actually becomes part of the process. It requires focus and presence. Between energy work, breathing practices, movement sessions, and guided workshops, you are engaged almost the entire day. It’s not chaotic — it’s intentional. You’re there to do the work.

I also appreciated the variety of experiences offered. The aura reading and qi-gong workshops were especially interesting. Whether you approach those sessions with curiosity or skepticism, they definitely spark introspection. The instructors are patient, calm, and genuinely supportive.

The food was consistently fresh and nourishing. Plant-based meals that were flavorful and satisfying, which matters when you’re physically and emotionally engaged in a retreat environment.

Most importantly, the experience doesn’t end when you leave. The conversations, the breathing techniques, the awareness practices — they linger. I left feeling clearer, steadier, and more intentional.

If you are willing to participate fully and stay open to the process, Sedona Mago offers an environment that supports real reflection and personal growth.
